Ron Paul gives up GOP hope
« on: May 14, 2012, 04:33:25 PM »
Ron Paul says he is done spending money on his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.

Paul on Monday issued a statement that insisted he would continue the fight for delegates, taking the battle to the GOP convention in Tampa. But the favorite of libertarians and Tea Partiers says he would no longer spend "many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have," in states that haven't yet voted.

Mitt Romney is 178 delegates shy of the 1,144 needed to capture the nomination, and Paul faces an all-but-impossible task of catching him. Paul's supporters have been causing trouble at local delegate selections but are unlikely to derail Romney's route.

Paul, a longtime congressman, is not running for another term to represent his Texas district.

Altho Ron Paul is not actively campaigning  he is still in this for presidential hopes! He said it si due to lack of funds that he is not going to continue on the campaign trail but is still reaching for the delegates needed for the ticket. So continue to campaign for him if you believe in what he stands for Thanks!

Keep your stickers on your cars! I think he already has enough delegates to make a fuss at the convention and who knows, ol mitt could have a heart attack  :P

Mitt Romney paid people to NOT count Pauls votes in the west. That sounds like Obummer behaviour right there! I don't like that douche he is a moral communist is all he is. Lets not forget that his health care bill in MA (which bankrupted the state) is what Obummer fashioned his after!

The problem with American politics is that no matter how great Ron Paul is and how crappy Romney is Ron Paul can't win at this point and the alternative to Romney is Obammy. This leads us to two paths, hope Romney focuses on job growth and lowering the debt or hope Obammy drags us down into hell so folks revolt.

The Romneycare didn't bankrupt MA, the negro deval patrick did, and a third party straw got him elected a second time! When Romney left we had a 500M$ surplus that was quickly used up. I dont like Romney for a million reasons but at least he's good with money as we can see from some of the companies that BAIN shut down. You can't make an egg without breaking an omlet. I think he'd be stronger dealing with global trade and quit selling out America ... so that when he dies he can go to mormon heaven and become a god with his harem of celestial wives ;x

If obammy wins and hell breaks loose and a revolt happens dont fool yourself into thinking a handful of ammo is going to save the day. The lefties and the righties and the government would just fight with eachother and everyone would suffer.
